I John 5:11-12
Most people are far too preoccupied with their life in this world to give any serious attention to the eternal matters of their soul. If they ever have a concern for spiritual things, usually it goes no further than the benefits it promises for their life here and now. We hear it from the religious hucksters who advertise their god as one that will make your life better. What we need is a God who is able to give us everlasting life. One who is able to save our immortal souls. One who is able to put away our sin and reconcile us to a Holy God. Only One can do that. His name is Jesus. He is The Christ, the Son of the living God. He said of Himself; “I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me”. Jn 14:6. ~GE

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Jn. 17:3
If Christ is my life, eternal, then I will fit the responsibilities of my temporal affairs into the things of God. I will not fit the things of God into my temporal affairs. He is worthy of my first fruits. Worship, service, giving, and prayer will not be my leftovers. They will be the foundation on which everything else is built. ~GE

Will the Lord forgive me again? Returning to the Lord is the only evidence that we are able to return. Waiting to know if we can, will never result in returning. The Lord told us to forgive 7×70. That represents an innumerable number of times. Would the One who delights and showing mercy and renews them every day, do less? He is much more willing to forgive than we are to be forgiven. Don’t hesitate. Come to the water of life and drink freely. The saints of God wash their robes and make them white only in the blood of the Lamb. Rev. 7:14. His blood shall never lose its power. ~GE

“I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.” Ps. 122:1.
Is God a Beggar?
False preachers today have made a beggar of the LORD of Lords. No, my proud religionist, you are the beggar. God is not obligated to do anything but damn you to the eternal praise of His justice. If you keep listening to the wrong voices, your end shall be with those before you of whom Christ said, “I am come in my Father’s name and ye receive me not, let another come in his own name and him ye will receive.” (John 5:43). ~Scott Richardson

When Peter walked on the water and saw the boisterous waves, the howling wind and began to sink, he simply prayed, “Lord save me.” A certain woman of Canaan, whom the Lord referred to as a Gentile dog, had a possessed daughter, and in seeking mercy for her she prayed, “Lord help me.” The thief on the cross who had been touched by the grace of God simply uttered, “Lord remember me.” When the enlightened sinner sees that they are drowning in their sin, and that they are nothing but a dog and a convicted criminal, they won't make a long discourse of words showing how much they know about sin, they will simply beg to be delivered from it. ~David Eddmenson

Let us believe in the goodness of the Lord even when we cannot discern it with the eye of sense.
Let us fly to His protection when storms of trouble fall.
Let us confide in His loving care when hunted by our enemies.
Let us take care that we rely upon Him, in Christ Jesus, for salvation. ~Copied

After the toil and trouble, There cometh a day of rest;
After the weary conflict, Peace on the Saviour’s breast;
After the care and sorrow, The glory of light and love;
After the wilderness journey, The Father’s bright home above.

When I look at the cross of Christ I think, how holy must God be and how evil must I be for such a person as God’s Son to have to die such a death in order to save me. “O wretched man that I am...” (Romans 7:24). ~John Chapman
CALL TO WORSHIP
Chief of sinners though I be, Jesus shed His blood for me.
Died that I might live on high, Lived that I might never die.
As the branch is to the vine, I am His and He is mine.
O the heights of Jesus’ love! Higher than the heav’ns above.
Deeper than the depths of sea, Lasting as eternity.
Love that found me – wondrous thought, Found me when I sought Him not.
Jesus only can impart, Balms to heal the smitten heart.
Peace that flows from sin forgiv’n, Joy that lifts the soul to heav’n.
Faith and hope that walk with God, In the way that Enoch trod.
Chief of sinners though I be, Christ is All in All to me
All my wants to Him are known, All my sorrows are His own.
Safe with Him from earthy strife, He sustains the hidden life.
O, my Savior, help afford, By Thy Spirit and Thy Word!
When my wayward heart would stray, Keep me in Thy narrow way.
Grace in time of need supply, While I live and when I die.
